I grew up in Michigan, USA: the "mitten state," land of lakes and cherries. As a teenager,  I was passionate about the arts. I spent most of my time and energy on theatre, photography, and drawing. I grew up, went to college, met my future husband, and graduated with degrees in English and Social Work. I became a case manager, a counselor, a child welfare worker.

In 2013, my life changed when my now-husband and I moved to South Korea to teach English. The world opened up to me. We still live in Korea. I am still a teacher. The future holds many mysteries, awaiting their opportunities to unfold.

This is a space where I share the images I create and my thoughts and ideas on various topics. I am most interested in stories, new places, wellbeing and food, writing and literature, and most recently, improving my skills as a Dungeon Master. As this site grows and changes, my dream is to move into creative professional work, specifically photography.
